What are my qualifications and background?

I have been a therapist since 1989 when I gained a Diploma in Humanistic Psychology at the University of Surrey.

I have worked both with individuals and groups, and have taught assertiveness, stress management, counseling skills and self-hypnosis for the WEA, the University of Reading Extra-Mural Department, to the general public and in companies.

In the late 1990s I obtained a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and I am a member of The Hypnotherapy Association. I am also a Licensed Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and have trained in Emotional Freedom Technique.

In 2004 I was awarded the Human Givens Diploma with Distinction. I am a Fellow of the Human Givens Institute.

Where do I practise?

I have a dedicated therapy room in my house in Norwich where I see individuals and couples. As this is located on the first floor, therapy for disabled clients can take place in their own homes by arrangement.

Caroline has been a great help to many members of my family.  My husband had a serious injury to his hand which resulted in a great deal of pain in the cold. Caroline reduced this pain considerably by hypnosis.  She is at the moment treating my 12 year old son for anxiety and sleep problems by teaching him various techniques to enable him to help himself.  He loves each visit to her and always feels much better afterwards.  Caroline is a warm and caring person and immediately inspires confidence, she has always managed to make me see my problems in a different light and has helped me and my family to overcome them.

Caroline's breadth of training and experience means that she has always been able to use an appropriate technique to address my core issue in a way that suited me personally and that was tailored to meet my personal needs. She has helped me understand that I can always find a way to be happy and has empowered me with the tools and techniques to make this possible.
